About the publication

Software research for the way U.S. insurance agencies actually divide the work.

Insurance Sales Stack helps producers and agency owners decide what belongs in a sales CRM, what belongs in an agency management system, and where automation helps—or creates risk.

What we do

Insurance Sales Stack is an independent software research publication for U.S. insurance sales teams. We translate product capabilities into practical decisions for producers and agency owners: which tool fits the sales motion, what it should own, what should remain in the AMS, and what trade-offs matter before implementation.

The agency operating model behind every review

Most established independent agencies already have an AMS or another system of record. A sales CRM should not casually duplicate policy transactions, carrier downloads, certificates, accounting or commission records. We evaluate whether a product improves lead response, producer activity, quote follow-up, pipeline visibility, referral tracking, renewal conversations and cross-sell execution while preserving clear data ownership.

Who the guidance is for

  • Independent P&C agencies separating production from servicing
  • Life and health producers managing long consideration cycles
  • Commercial producers working account-first, multi-contact opportunities
  • Small agencies choosing between a general CRM and an insurance-native platform
  • Agency leaders trying to improve adoption without rebuilding every process at once

How we handle affiliate relationships

Some outbound links are affiliate links and may generate compensation. A commercial relationship does not prove product quality and does not determine rankings. Every recommended product must have a defined best-fit use case, a meaningful trade-off and a clear “skip it if” case. See the affiliate disclosure and review methodology.
